You can declare Hindustani or Carnatic as musical context and choose a notation style and Sa while editing. Matra keeps their swara vocabularies separate and labels unsupported analysis honestly. Upload audio you have the right to process and inspect the Sargam lens only when produced. Staff and Harmony remain separate capabilities rather than automatic translations.

Open the declared result
Matra shows only the musical views the engine produced for that recording. If a view is unavailable, the Studio explains why instead of inventing a result.

Fix, then keep it
Editing always improves your chart. Your corrections (never your audio) also help improve Matra’s engines, separated from your account, unless you turn that off in Account › Privacy. Edit the current score, then export PDF, MusicXML or MIDI when that format is available for the result.

Questions, answered.
Can I write sargam from scratch, or only from audio?
The current Studio starts from an analysis result and lets you correct the canonical score. This page does not promise a blank-score composition editor.
Does it handle Carnatic swaras?
You can declare Carnatic context and choose Carnatic notation in the editor. An automatic Carnatic Sargam result is shown only if the analysis actually supports it.
What does it cost?
Invited members are not charged for analysis during the current private beta. Usage limits apply. Future credit, pack, subscription and discount policies have not been set.
Is my audio private?
Your recording stays private and can remain with your chart for playback or retry. Delete projects or your account yourself; see our Privacy Policy for retention and deletion. We never use your audio to train AI. Your corrections and your songs’ analysis (not audio) help improve Matra’s engines, separated from your account, unless you turn that off in Account › Privacy.
How accurate is it?
There is no single accuracy promise for every recording. Each available result carries its declared maturity and confidence, and you can inspect and correct the chart before using it.
